History

The GYC Racing Team, although already supported before, was officially founded in 2012 primarily with "The vision “ of developing «A school of life» - a pathway of concrete experiences. Supporting young sailing talents, mainly from the region but not excluding other geographies, at the highest level with the clear objective of participating in international level, accessing the highest levels of world sailing and concrete training plans and regattas to achieve concrete results.

The GYC became the home of top international successful sailors that participate in all major competitions around the world such the Americas Cup, World and European Championships, Swiss National Championships and ultimately, in the Olympic Games.
