GYC’s latest addition to the traditional Sport and Yachting events is the annually Golf & Yachting held on the first weekend in September since 2015. A one-day team event of golf (two persons scramble) and remote-controlled model boat sailing takes the 30 to 40 of GYC members, partners and friends of Gstaad’s golf club to 18-hole golf tournament on what is to be Switzerland’s best kept alpine golfing secrets. The sailing part is organised even higher up – on the Hornberglake. A fun event crowned with dinner and prize-giving at the GYC’s clubhouse.
