The GYC supports its members and their Olympic ambitions since 2004 and has not stopped since then!

LA28 Campaign Begins.

2 GYC Racing Team Members aimed for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 - One participated:

  • Elena Lengwiler - Kite Surf Olympic Diploma for Switzerland
  • Gauthier Verhulst - ILCA7

4 GYC Racing Team Members aimed for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - Two participated:

  • Matteo Sanz Lanz - X:RS Olympic Diploma for Switzerland
  • Will Ryan - 470 - Olympic Gold for Australia
  • Eliot Merceron - Laser Standard and Nils Theuninck – Fin

Four GYC Racing Team Members went to Rio 2016:

  • Natalie Brugger & Mattias Bühler - Nacra 14 (SUI)
  • Billy Besson- Nacra 1 7 (FRA)
  • Will Ryan - 470 (AUS)

Three GYC Team Members participated in the 2012 Olympics:

  • Nathalie Brugger – Laser;
  • Richard Stauffacher – RS:X;
  • Flavio Marazzi & Enrico Maria – Star

The first GYC members participated in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics:
