The Gstaad Yacht Club in Saanenland has been very active throughout the years and has already given many children an insight into the world of sailing. There are, as well, many different boat classes including kitesurfing or windsurfing. Especially this variety of possibilities is a great chance for children to find exactly the discipline they like best.
Now the Gstaad Yacht Club would like to expand these opportunities and, in the spirit of the Swiss Sailing Federation's concept for the promotion of young sailors, provide equal opportunities for all children within the sailing sport. Sailing is not a sport of the elite and with regional cooperation the club can establish a framework for repeatedly feasible sailing sports also in the Saanenland.
