Congrats to all at stormy Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2019

Last weekend several of our members took part in the 81st edition of the Bol d’Or on lake Leman that was run in variable conditions, with light winds at the start and a memorable storm on the return journey that caused much damage. The GYC congratulates Dona Bertarelli, although not on board of her Ladycat powered by Spindrift Racing who emerged victorious from the tempest. Further congrats to Ernesto Bertarelli on the D35 Alinghi as well as Clarin Mustad who entered the race with a worldwide first, a V2 T-Foils – Ausoni. Our thoughts go the ones who were not as lucky and lost their boats. Nostromino, mission accomplished at stormy Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2019Nostromino, the Wally Nano MK11 007 that blends Italian style with Dutch know-how, was launched just the day before the regatta - 14 June 2019.
